BGCMR Onboarded Two New Sites

Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Richmond has officially on-boarded two new sites.

Thanks to the NextUp Afterschool Zone powered by BGCMR and The Y, we are now operating Clubs at Lucille Brown and River City Middle Schools, with continued site coordination at MLK, Jr. Middle School.

Here are a few highlights about this addition:

  • NextUp RVA will continue to be the Richmond Public Schools (RPS) liaison for Out-of-School Time (OST) responsibilities for these sites. This includes transportation, nutrition, and security.

  • The Y will become site coordinators for Albert Hill Middle School, Boushall Middle School, and Henderson Middle School.

  • This partnership supports BGCMR’s transition to supporting middle and high schoolers in Richmond.
